Everything started back in 2011 when our President/Founder, Franc Ricardo, was introduced to WINFOCUS at a major event related to the use of the ultrasound in the medical education held in Columbia, SC, and hosted by the University of South Carolina - School of Medicine. Everything started back in 2011 when our President/Founder, Franc Ricardo, was introduced to WINFOCUS at a major event related to the use of the ultrasound in the medical education held in Columbia, SC, and hosted by the University of South Carolina - School of Medicine. A few months later we started a medical project in Brazil. By the way, the largest ultrasound project developed in that country. It was presented at UN and endorsed by NASA.
Since then, Franc Ricardo continues supporting WINFOCUS projects, missions, and events.
In 2021 we were encouraged to step up and provide technical and financial support to medical organizations and physicians working in needed areas with low resources, which an ultrasound would make a huge difference in their medical practices.
